Dear Dental Care patient

 

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dental Care Studio has implemented various stringent measures to ensure that our patients and staff are protected and feel comfortable coming into the practice.

 

The following procedures have been put in place to ensure your and our safety:

 

• When booking your appointment, please inform us if you have traveled abroad in the last 4 weeks and please postpone your appointment if you have. Please also rather postpone your appointment if you are experiencing ANY flu or cold-like symptoms.

• On arrival, please stay in your car – we will contact you as soon as the doctor is ready to see you. As we will be doing a thorough disinfection between each patient and want to minimize patient-to-patient contact.

• All our door handles, surfaces, chairs, machines, products and bathroom are wiped down with an appropriate disinfectant between patients.

• On entering the practice, please clean your hands with the hand sanitizer provided and kindly complete our quick safety questionnaire.

• Once in the examination room, all patients will be required to rinse and gargle (for 30 seconds) with an anti-septic mouth rinse. This rinse has been scientifically proven to reduce the microbial load in saliva.

• Dr Rossouw will, for the time being, not be performing any high-risk procedures like scaling and highspeed aerosol-producing procedures to minimize any risk of droplet exposure.
